Our Products
Ida scented candles and tarts are hand poured and made with a natural soy blend wax. Our products are all generously scented to create a fragrant environment. Each candle is built to burn clean with very little waste. The last hour of burn time will smell as good as the first. There will be no wax left on the sides of the jar resulting in very little waste.
Our fragrances are all grade A and we purchase our scents from what we consider only the best manufacturers. We try to describe our scents to assist you with your purchase, however, opinions of fragrances can be very personal. If you see "type" after a scent please note that it is a duplication of an original scent (for example, "Love Spell Type" is of Victoria's Secret Type).

Who We Are
Our journey in the candle making business began in 2008. Living in northern California with a lot of rain and dampness led to burning candles many hours a day. With this daily use I noticed that the candles weren't very well scented, there was always wax left of the sides of the jars, they were expensive and I became sensitive to the paraffin. So my husband Bill and I started making our own candles, always being conscious of cost and quality.
One year later in 2009 we moved back to northern Kentucky. We continued improving our product until we felt comfortable giving them as gifts. The response from family and friends encouraged us to take our project to the next level.
In 2011 we became Ida Candles LLC. Our company was named after both my grandmothers. I felt this honored all my grandparents as well as my parents.
The primary mission of Ida Candles is to make an excellent candle and tart at an affordable price.
We hope you ENJOY our products.
Sincerely,
Karen and Bill Buss
